A shop with history in Ericeira

Doca de Letras stems from a family history tied to Ericeira for over four decades.

It all began in the 1980s when my parents returned from England and opened the Lancastrian snack bar. Later on, the family dedicated themselves to local commerce through a stationery shop and, for many years, the Bambi Tobacconist.

Doca de Letras was born in January 2022 on Rua 5 de Outubro, combining this experience with a new passion: books.

Today you will find books in Portuguese and English, stationery, magazines, gifts, games, tobacco, and personal recommendations, always with friendly and attentive service.

We call it Doca de Letras because, in a village tied to the sea, we believe stories also deserve a safe harbor.
